Lasting Impact through Education

Each outreach site presents with varying degrees of need in areas of medical, dental, pharmacology, wellness and economic development. One of our sustainability initiatives is accomplished through education.

Our team offers an education component during each outreach opportunity. This ensures the community needs are met by way of training locals to create support that continues long after the Bridges team’s departure.

Examples of education provided to outreach communities includes, but is not limited to:

• Hand hygiene
• Basic first aid interventions
• Dental hygiene
• Feminine hygiene
• Monitoring of blood pressure & glucose (equipment supplied)
• Administration of respiratory breathing treatments
• Sustainable clean water
